Although the 7-19-74 is known for it's alltime great spanish jam and Weather Report, I've always dug the He's Gone from that show. Just soulful and Phil is on.

Cool topic. Thanks for the list Stat, some I will be def. be checking out. Can I throw in 5/26/73 as one version I like. This will sound lame and I won't explain it clearly, but when they're doing the "Ooh, nothing's gonna bring him back" deal at the end, (I thinks its like 10 min. into it) Garcia starts to rip into a jam, but the rest of the crew is still "ooh"-ing. They get done with that go around and then get right with it. First time I heard that misplaced note I knew something good was coming, then had to WAIT for the "nothings going to bring him back" to get over with. Kind of dumb, but I still crank it at that time to still try to build some suspense...Ok, thats my distorted rant for the day.
